social media at the workplace

Hey everyone,

To me i believe it was right to fire the employee because he broke the rules pount blank. For a company with that big of a reputation and as the number one company in the world there's no tolerance for that. As an employee, your social life and workplace should never interfere and the man definetly made a huge mistake by doing that. They stressed that rule and if i was the employee i wouldnt even argue the decision.

PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism has been a problem in our school system for some number of years now. It seems as though every year it even gets easier and easier to plagiarize as we go along into the future. the main reason why plagiarism seems to be getting easier to do is because of the new technology and innovation in the world. The internet makes it so much to plagiarize because you can look up any answer to a question in just a clicks away. With the Internet offering students such a great amount of information at their fingertips, it is no surprise that one of the main reasons that they commit acts of plagiarism is simply due to how easy and convenient it has become. Plagiarism is a serious academic crime and most students don't get away with it. to help prevent plagiarism, colleges now have installed plagiarism detective software to control this widespread situation in the the states.

check out these sites for more info about plagiarism..enjoy y'all:

America's Educational System

Whats going on y'all,

OK..so our educational system is sinking right now and there are many theories to why this is happening. I looked around for answers online and some believe that the increase use of marijuana and teen drinking in the U.S has a big influence in the drop of the U.S educational system. According to the Washington Profile in 2001, 47% of high school students drank at least once and 24% smoked weed. Another reason why the U.S eduacational system is depriving is because the amount of money that it takes to search for and hire new
teachers year after year is taking a toll on education budgets that are already stretched to
the limit. Forty-six percent of new teachers in this country quit teaching after five years or less. Here is the link to this article..see what others are saying and how this situation can be solved..ENJOY!! http://www.nationalforum.com/Electronic%20Journal%20Volumes/Boyer,%20Ashley%20Problems%20Facing%20American%20Education.pdf

TECH. tools used in class!

Hey everyone

I've used many technological tools in class. For one, we all off course used calculators at one point in our school daze. Recently, i started to use my IPhone/IPad in class to record my history professors lecture in class. Its hard to write down and listen to him when he doesn't  even take a break when he gives his lectures the entire class. By having this tool makes it easy now because i can record his lecture and listen to it later and not miss anything he says. IPad's also are a greater tool because it can be used to write down notes on and it has the internet and many other apps. The kindle is similar to the iPad because you can have many books saved on it read it whenever you want and take it anywhere. i love having technology in classrooms because everything is just way easier...DUHHH lol. Innovation in Technology is getting crazy these and it just keeps getting better and better. Soon enough we won't even have classrooms/schools anymore. Any question you have now is just a click or touch anyway.
